Silver origami crane necklace
The crane – or tsuru – has appeared in Japanese art, literature and folklore over many centuries. As well as being regarded as a symbol of good fortune and a long life, it is also associated with love and fidelity (as the Japanese crane mates for life), and as a symbol of hope for peace.
The delicate folds and shape of this stunning silver origami crane necklace capture a sense of movement and flight, as if the bird has been magically transformed. An elegant emerald Swarovski crystal is securely held beneath the crane and contrasts beautifully with the fine silver.
The silver crane on this pendant is 3cm (1.1”) wide and 1cm (0.4”) high. The full pendant length is approximately 2.5cm (0.9”) and hangs on a 45cm (17.7”)sterling silver chain.
As I hand make each necklace, I am happy to use a different colour crystal in the design, so that your pendant perfectly reflects your individual style (please email me for details). This item can be purchased as a set with the stunning silver origami crane earrings with matching Swarovski crystals.
Because each item is special, it wouldn’t be complete without a beautiful gift box that will protect your necklace when not in use.
